On the 20th of May 2017 RX Radio officially went on air for the first time with a three hour long broadcast. We also had special guests media practitioner Dr. Michael Mol & Zola Nene who is a food stylist and TV chef. We now have our own RX Radio Youtube channel. The channel will be used to host the RX Radio Radio Diaries. These tell some of the the amazing stories of the children patients in the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
RX Radio has been in the making for nearly a decade. We’re very excited that broadcasting will start soon. Our studios were completed in December 2016. Since then we have been training and learning from children in the hospital. Our team is growing in confidence and the first test broadcast is scheduled for 12 April!
